How To Watermark Your Photos Using PicsArt App

Recently, I had an issue with a female blogger which I will not reveal her name, she took one of my images, removed the watermark and posted it on her blog, In other to prevent such to happen again, I learnt the best way to watermark photos and stop people from stealing them.
Other bloggers and website owners keeps taking your photos without properly crediting you and you feel bad about it? Worry, no more as today, I will be sharing with you a simple way to watermark your photos.

Ever since, I started using this method to watermark my photos, other bloggers do copy me without crediting me but I don't bother again as my blog name is written clearly on the photos and someone don't need to tell you before you know that the photos were lifted from my blog.

With PicsArt on your android phone, you can easily watermark your photos and use them in your blog posts, photos you can watermark are those photos you took using your phone camera or eyewitnesses sent to you not that you go online and pick images and start putting watermarks on them.

Now go to Google Play Store and install PicsArt.

Launch it, you will see and click on the + icon as seen below.

Click on "Edit" to choose a picture and make some changes to it, "Collage" to make photo collage, "Draw" to draw on your photos and "Camera" to use your phone camera to snap and make changes to it. But for the purpose of this tutorial, let's use the "Edit" feature.
After clicking on "Edit", pictures in your Gallery will pop up, choose a photo you wish to work on.

For this tutorial, we will be using this photo below...
Now to watermark the photo, slide left and Click on "Add Photo" and choose a photo you wish to use. Or click on ''Text'' to use text if you don't have a good transparent design for watermark.
You can add or reduce the Opacity of the image you're using as watermark, crop it, move it up and down or make more changes to it.
When you are done, save your changes,
And finally save your work by clicking on Gallery.
That's how to watermark your photos using Picsart, I hope you find the tutorial useful?

Please, I will love to hear from you, comment below and remember to subscribe to the blog to always get my blog updates straight in your mailbox once I publish a new post.

How Pastors Can Increase Their Income In The Current Economic Recession By Blogging

Today on my blog, I will be sharing with you how you as a pastor or an aspiring one can start a blog and make money from it during this time of economic recession.

You will learn how to title your post, monetize it and promote it on Social media.

Follow me below...

Due to the massive retrenchment in the country and economic recession still looming, it is pertinent to a conclusion that church goers are also getting a bite of the dwindling economic.

In view of this, their financial quota to the church may decline. Hence, the income of the pastor may have ascending hindrance

How can this new development be managed to negate the current alarming state of the country?

Well, the solution still remains diversification of income.

For example, a pastor with physical 3000 members can turn them into 3000 online active members.

What do I mean?

1. Create a church blog or personal blog eg Remember content is the key.

2. You already have the traffic, Get an adsense account, Place on the blog. Most pastors have psychological intelligence.

3. They want people want to hear, For example, jambite need admission Unemployed needs jobs, frustrated single ladies need a husband, A sick man need good health. Many people want to be rich either by miracle or otherwise.

4. So the blog content should be in the format below.

1st Blog post: 2016 a year of unprecedented riches - Claim it here

After that, the post can have all the jargons with relevant keep words

2nd Post title: Reasons why you are still single - God's revelation

3rd Post title: Your Jamb reg number will be your admission number - claim it here.

Just those type of titles and then your content are theologically fit.

After that, on Sunday or midweek service, Announce the launch of your blog.

Tell your congregation that you have given them another platform to a wealth of spiritual information and upliftment.

Promote it on social media, If you have seen AdSense ads on religion, they are on point.

Church members are ignorant. They will click those ads thinking is prayer point.

One pitfall to avoid, Never talk about morality, that is one topic 90% of church people don't want to hear.

You can lose your audience, So focus on prosperity, good health, financial freedom etc.

You can also use the blog to sell your product eg, audio and video church programmes.

4 Reasons Your Blog Is Not Growing

There are so many blogs on the Nigerian media scene today, and the truth is, not all these blogs are getting the expected shares, subscribers, recognition or engagement. Of course, building a blog’s audience does not happen overnight but most times, the reason is simply because the blogger is making wrong moves and they are constantly working against his/her endeavors.

Do you blog? Have you been working hard to build a loyal following for your business, but it's just not happening for you? Jumia travel, Africa’s No.1 online hotel booking portal reveals 4 possible reasons why your blog might not be getting the traffic or the attention they desire.

Your site is poorly branded: Before any visitor starts to explore you blog, he/she must be attracted to it. If your blog is poorly branded, it will be difficult to grow your audience. No one finds a site appealing if it is cluttered, confusing, or visually unattractive. When running a blog, stick to a custom design and have a style guide. People will take you more seriously if you have a professional, consistent design.

You are not Engaging People: Your blog should not be a platform where you only post things for visitors to come and view. It should be engaging. Let your readers know that they can interact with you via the platform as well. The easiest way to engage the people who visit your blog is by replying when people leave comments on your blog.Replying comment also helps you create loyal followers.

You are Not Consistent: A lot of people start blogs and fail to schedule posts regularly. Some people put out 3-4 posts in a week, and then they go a whole month or two without writing as much as 1 post. Doing this discourages your readers and followers, they lose interest and subscribe from your blog or channel, in search of alternatives. If your aim is to have a successful blog with steady growth, you need to keep the content fresh and consistent. If you can only count on publishing one blog post per week, start there. Whatever you do, never set an editorial schedule that relies on more content than you can publish regularly.

You are not taking advantage of social media: No matter how great your content, if you do not share it with others, there is a huge chance that content won't live up to its full potential. Social media is absolutely huge for growing a blog as it allows you to share your content to a wide audience, and also create connections and conversations that you can drive back to your blog posts. To grow a thriving blog you need to be active and engaged on social media. If social media feels overwhelming, try scheduling it.

This share button is called Shareaholic Floating Share Bar, With shareaholic share buttons your readers will be able to share your blog content on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Email It, StumbleUpon, Whatsapp and many more social networks.

Shareaholic is Optimized for Mobile, Available in Giant Size, Full Color Customization
Custom Positioning, Share Counts, Smart Sort and Conditional Share Counts & Advanced Display.

First of all head to and sign up for an account if you are not yet registered or sign in if you have already signed up.

Step 1: Click on “Edit General Settings” as seeing in the screen shot below.

Settings for Floated Share Buttons by Shareaholic
Step 2: Now click on the little button on far right to turn Floated Share Buttons on (green) or off (red).

Updated Floating Share Buttons Settings
Step 4: Want your share buttons to be just perfect on your site? For your share buttons to be perfect on your site, just select your button size (normal/mini), activate share counts (or leave them off), for the share buttons to align on the left or right sidebar, just change the Alignment to left or right. Turn the “more options button” on (green) if you want to make it available to allow visitors to share to other networks, or turn it off (red) entirely. And if you want your buttons to look just right on your site, adjust their vertical offset to position them perfectly with your site’s theme.

Step 5: Here is for you to customize the set of buttons you want to feature: At the bottom of the screenshot above, you can select the social networks you want and add those buttons to your floating share bar. You can select as many as you want but I will advice you to select the ones you know your site visitors always use. The share buttons are 100%  responsive that is they are mobile- and tablet-friendly.

Step 6: If you don't want a certain share button button, just deselect them by hovering over each on the preview screen and clicking the little ''X'' to remove them.

Step 7: Positioning of the share button for your readers: You can arrange your buttons in any way you want by hovering over each one you want to move, clicking-and-holding it, then drag it to your desired position as seen in the screen shot below, see the way i tried to move the Pinterest button.

Click, Drag and Delete Specific Floating Share Buttons

Step 8: Finally we are done with the set up of the Share buttons, Now click on ''Save Settings'' to save it.

Now lets add the share button to our blog.

Now add your website to your account and below it you will see the ''Get Setup Code'' click it and get the set up code and add it before the the closing </head> tag in your template and view your blog to see the Floating share button live on your blog both the desktop and mobile view.

Click on ''Sharing'' next to Website page to see the page below...

In the ''Message Format'' section, you will add your Twitter handle so that anytime someone shares your blog post on Twitter you will be notified.

In the ''URL Shortener'' section, I used you can use anyone you want and I left the other ones I don't need.

Then coming down you will see ''Heading'', this is the message your blog reader will see after sharing your content so you can just leave it that, it doesn't end it here you can still show your social networks to the blog reader to follow you. This can be done in the ''Follow Buttons'' section, just edit it, select the social networks you want and insert your profile URL's.

So anytime someone shares your blog post, the Follow us button will pop up for him or her to follow you on your respective social networks.

Shareaholic can still show Related content to your readers if you don't have such on your blog but we are not talking about that today and you can still use the Analytics page to monitor how people have shared your post and the engagement the posts received through Shareaholic.

Below is how the floating share button looks like on my Blog desktop and mobile view respectively.

Mobile view
That is how it is done, is there anything you don't understand, talk to me in the comment section.

How Google Adsense Approved Me With Just 8 Blog Posts

Adsense, Blogging,
Every bloggers wish is to have a Google Adsense account and start making money with it and am not exempted from this, I started my entertainment blog in November 2013 and ever since then I have been applying for adsense but they keep rejecting my application.

Upon Googles rejection I never gave up, I kept pushing harder not minding what some gurus normally say that you must have many unique articles before Google adsense will approve your application.

I even had a deal with a blogger who I will not want to mention his name,  He was to take 40% while I will take 60% but the deal didn't go as planned so I removed the adsense ads from my blog, I will not advise anybody to take that path because its risky even though you want to do it, do it with someone you trust.

I first applied for Adsense when I designed this blog but was rejected because of Insufficient content, then I left it like that then I continued posting until I got a custom domain name.

I applied again with my new custom domain, I was accepted at the first stage but was rejected on the second verification, I never loose faith in my God. while I was in the village on the 4th of November, I decided to place the ad code on my blog again and see, I placed the ad code and within hours I received a mail that my Google Adsense account has been fully activated.
The mail I received.

I said wao, am I dreaming? No, I was not dreaming, Its reality.....Now its time to make money LOL.

So how did Adsense approve me with just 8 blog posts?

For Adsense to approve you like me, you have to consider the following.

1.  Responsiveness of the blog - I designed the blog using Awesome Inc template which is easy to navigate and you don't have to zoom your device to read the blog, its pages are well arranged in a way that any blog reader can get what they want at anytime they land on the blog.

2.  Content - Content comes second on my list because its after the design that you can then think of what to post on the blog, It's a personal blog so I was not always in a rush to post, I take time to write my blog posts, if you observe I normally leave the blog for months without updating, its because am always busy researching on what to write about or doing my other online businesses. I always write quality and unique articles for this blog, they were just eight when Google adsense accepted me, its not magic, its real.

3. Pages - I created the important pages that a blog needs for it to be accepted by Google adsense which are as follows....

A. About Page: This page describes me as a person and what I will be talking about on this blog and once someone clicks it he or she will read about me and what the blog is all about.

B. Privacy Policy: This one talks about the information the blog will receive from every visitor, i even mentioned Google Adsense as a advertisement company that i use of which i was not using at that time, the trick is just to show respect to them.

C. Contact Page: This is a page that someone can enter to send you a mail or get your contact details to talk to you or complain about your service.

D. Sitemap: This is a page that carries all the blog posts on the blog arranging them according to their labels which makes it easy for a blog reader to find the content he or she is looking for, and it helps search engines to index your content easily too.

4. Remove other ads: I removed my entertainment blog and domainking affiliate banners from the blog, Google sees it as a rival so I got rid of them before applying.

5. Get a Custom Domain: With a custom domain, Google adsense will take you more serious and not like some folks who open blogs just to get adsense approved using the blogs and zoom off.

This is all I did for Adsense to accept me, it was not by my luck but by God's grace.

Is there anything I didn't include that you think should be in the post? Let me know in the comment box.

Always share my blog  posts with your friends and subscribe to the blog to receive my latest updates.
